Primary Teacher – International School

About the role

Compass International School Doha is seeking a passionate Primary Teacher to join its vibrant community. You will be responsible for delivering the British primary curriculum to children aged 3‑11, fostering a respectful and inquiry‑driven classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging learning activities aligned with the school’s primary curriculum.
• Promote high expectations and a culture where students can achieve without limits.
• Facilitate learning through questioning, discussion, and respectful classroom management.
• Collaborate with colleagues, share specialist expertise, and contribute to school initiatives.
• Communicate confidently with parents and diverse audiences to build strong relationships.

Required profile

• University degree in Primary Education.
• Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE/QTS) obtained through face‑to‑face study.
• Considerable teaching experience, ideally at least two years in a primary setting.
• Ability to meet Qatar visa requirements.
• Reflective practitioner committed to continuous professional development.
