About the role
The Procurement Officer will lead strategic and transactional purchasing activities, ensuring compliance with corporate business principles and HSSE policies. You will manage the full procurement cycle for spare parts, equipment, and services, driving value through effective sourcing and supplier management.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute tender and procurement strategies for MRO, minor equipment, and overhaul services.
- Prepare and issue tender documents, evaluate bids, and present recommendations to management.
- Negotiate prices and commercial terms to secure best value for the company.
- Manage post‑award activities including order issuance, expediting, dispute resolution, and contract close‑out.
- Coordinate logistics with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams for import/export shipments and statutory approvals.
- Maintain supplier relationships, monitor performance, and provide feedback reports.
- Support audit processes and generate regular procurement performance reports.
Required profile
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing, tender management, and contract administration.
- Strong understanding of HSSE policies and compliance requirements.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage multiple procurement projects and meet tight deadlines.
