Project Engineer

About the role

A leading organization in Qatar is looking for a Project Engineer to support the planning, execution and delivery of strategic projects in a fast-paced environment. The role suits an engineer who combines strong technical expertise with project coordination and stakeholder management.

Key responsibilities

• Support the planning, execution, monitoring and delivery of projects in line with approved schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with internal departments, consultants, contractors and external stakeholders.
• Review engineering designs, technical submissions, drawings and project documentation.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare project reports, presentations and progress updates for management.
• Take part in site inspections, project meetings and technical evaluations.
• Support contract administration, procurement and project closeout.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related).
• Experience in project engineering, project management, construction, infrastructure, industrial or development projects.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, written and spoken.
• Qatari nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.
