Project & Planning Engineer – Oil & Gas & Energy

About the role
We are looking for a highly experienced Project / Planning Engineer to lead end‑to‑end planning and execution of oil & gas and energy engineering projects. The role focuses on rotating and turbo‑machinery systems, ensuring schedules align with baseline plans and client requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, monitor, and control project schedules (baseline, recovery, revised).
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
- Track progress using MS Project and Primavera, providing regular status reports and forecasts.
- Identify delays, risks, and bottlenecks and propose corrective actions.
- Support planning for installation, commissioning, and maintenance of turbines, compressors, pumps, and related equipment.
- Maintain documentation, project logs, and planning records for audits.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas / Energy Engineering projects.
- At least 5 years as a Project Engineer or Planning Engineer leading planning functions.
- Proven experience with rotating or turbo‑machinery systems and full project lifecycle (concept, FEED, execution, commissioning).
