Project & Planning Engineer – Oil & Gas & Energy

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Project / Planning Engineer to lead end‑to‑end planning and execution of oil & gas and energy engineering projects. The role focuses on rotating and turbo‑machinery systems, ensuring schedules align with baseline plans and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and control project schedules (baseline, recovery, revised).
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
• Track progress using MS Project and Primavera, providing regular status reports and forecasts.
• Identify delays, risks, and bottlenecks and propose corrective actions.
• Support planning for installation, commissioning, and maintenance of turbines, compressors, pumps, and related equipment.
• Maintain documentation, project logs, and planning records for audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas / Energy Engineering projects.
• At least 5 years as a Project Engineer or Planning Engineer leading planning functions.
• Proven experience with rotating or turbo‑machinery systems and full project lifecycle (concept, FEED, execution, commissioning).
