Recreation Animator – Luxury Resort

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Recreation Animator to join our luxury resort in Doha. The successful candidate will create memorable leisure experiences for guests, ensuring safety and high standards across all pool and activity areas.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain operational procedures, checklists and work instructions to a high standard.
• Prepare pool facilities and equipment daily, including opening and closing the centre in line with published hours.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene and compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the shift.
• Supervise the pool area, assist swimmers in difficulty and provide lifesaving first aid when required.
• Monitor and record chemical levels of pool water, reporting any deviations to the Duty Manager or Maintenance Engineer.
• Perform routine checks and maintenance in the plant room, including backwashing filters.
• Deliver excellent customer service with a professional appearance and attitude.
• Prepare activity reports and carry out miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or resort.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit, able to stand for long periods and perform light athletic activities.

Required skills

• Pool chemical monitoring and maintenance.
• Lifesaving and first‑aid techniques.
• Basic facility maintenance and cleaning procedures.
