Recreation Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and proactive Recreation Attendant to join our team at Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara. In this role you will deliver warm, personalized service to guests using our pool and beach facilities, ensuring a memorable and safe experience.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with guests, respond to their needs and provide towels, chaise lounge and cabana set‑up.
• Collect and remove used towels and debris from pool decks throughout the day.
• Maintain pool area cleanliness, ambience and proper set‑up to create a positive first impression.
• Promote and up‑sell wellness and recreation offers to maximise revenue.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including safety checks and pool preparation.
• Follow hotel fire, life‑safety and emergency procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
• Assist with any additional tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• Minimum one year experience as a recreation or pool attendant.
• Exceptional customer‑service orientation.
• Basic knowledge of recreational equipment, facilities and first‑aid procedures.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to undertake any tasks delegated by the department manager.
