Recruitment Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Recruitment Specialist to lead talent acquisition for HIA’s various business units. The role involves designing and executing proactive recruitment strategies, managing a small support team, and ensuring a high‑quality, cost‑effective hiring process.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement recruitment plans aligned with departmental manpower needs and operational objectives.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
• Supervise a small team of support staff to maintain efficient recruitment workflows.
• Coordinate with third‑party agencies and manage related agreements when external assistance is required.
• Lead specific recruitment campaigns both within Qatar and internationally, handling multiple positions simultaneously.
• Create and place print and web advertisements, and utilise databases to identify potential candidates.
• Prepare competency‑based interview questions and facilitate selection panels with line managers.
• Conduct reference checks and negotiate employment contracts with selected candidates.

Required profile

• High School/Vocational Diploma with at least 5 years of relevant recruitment experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
• Proven ability to design and execute recruitment strategies for a range of job grades, up to senior management.
• Experience supervising a small team and managing agency relationships.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide professional guidance to hiring managers.
