Restaurant Insider (Hostess)

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and attentive Restaurant Insider (Hostess) to welcome guests at our W Hotels location in Doha. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring a smooth and pleasant dining experience from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size and seat them at clean, prepared tables.
• Pull out chairs, place menus, and ensure each setting includes a napkin, silverware and any required items.
• Maintain cleanliness of the host area and dining floor, following clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Monitor table turnover, seating availability and guest safety throughout the shift.
• Check menus for cleanliness, currentness and proper presentation.
• Answer telephone calls with professional etiquette and assist guests with inquiries.
• Follow all company safety, security and uniform policies.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior work experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Clear, professional communication skills.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
