About the role
Madre Integrated Engineering is hiring a Rigger in Doha within the oil and gas sector. The role covers rigging and lifting work on site, following site procedures and lifting plans.
Key responsibilities
- Perform rigging and lifting activities safely according to site procedures and lifting plans.
- Inspect slings, shackles, hooks, wire ropes and other lifting accessories before use.
- Assist in lifting, shifting, loading, unloading and positioning of equipment and materials.
- Follow the Lifting Supervisor's instructions and ensure safe communication during lifting operations.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Rigger.
- Must be QatarEnergy (QE) approved.
- Valid Rigging Certificates or third-party certifications.
- Transferable visa / NOC.
- Candidates with Ras Laffan / Dukhan / Mesaieed gate passes are preferred.
Required skills
- Good knowledge of safe rigging practices.
- Knowledge of lifting equipment.
- Knowledge of hand signals used in lifting operations.
