Sales Engineer – Oil & Gas Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sales Engineer to drive new business opportunities with key Oil & Gas clients in Qatar. You will act as the technical bridge between customers and our internal teams, ensuring solutions meet client needs while supporting TUV SÜD’s growth in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on Oil & Gas accounts, to build long‑term partnerships.
• Visit customer sites and company premises to gather enquiries, technical requirements, and build relationships.
• Prepare and submit tenders, quotations, contract terms, and related proposal documents.
• Manage the full sales cycle, including customer communication, scope clarification, invoicing, and payment follow‑up.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and technical teams; review sales performance with the line manager.
• Ensure compliance with TUV SÜD policies and report any non‑compliance, hazards, incidents, or complaints.
• Maintain strong customer relations, uphold confidentiality, and independently manage assigned projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant discipline.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in Qatar.
• Valid Qatar driving licence.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
