Sales Executive - Hotel Rooms, Events and Meetings

About the role

The Sales Executive plays a key role in driving business growth by identifying new sales opportunities, building strong client relationships and promoting the hotel's rooms, dining outlets, events and leisure facilities. The role supports the Sales team in reaching revenue targets while upholding Hyatt's purpose of caring for people so they can be their best.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Sales team in generating business for guestrooms, events, meetings and hotel outlets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Conduct sales calls, site inspections, client meetings and networking activities.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and prepare proposals, contracts and quotations.
• Assist in negotiating rates and agreements in line with hotel strategy.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate client records and sales activities within Hyatt systems.
• Coordinate with Events, Operations and Revenue teams for seamless service delivery.
• Take part in trade shows, exhibitions and promotional events as required.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• 1-2 years of professional experience, preferably in hospitality, customer service or a commercial environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and guests.
• Good organisational and time-management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
