About the role

We are seeking an inspiring Secondary English Language & Literature Teacher to join a leading British International School in Doha. The role involves delivering the British curriculum, fostering global citizenship, and embedding values that respect Islamic identity.

Key responsibilities

• Teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages, delivering engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons.
• Support diverse learners, including EAL students, ensuring inclusivity and academic excellence.
• Lead or contribute to extracurricular activities such as debate, drama, and creative writing clubs.
• Collaborate with an international team of educators to develop innovative teaching practices.

Required profile

• BA degree in English Language with QTS and/or PGCE in Secondary Education.
• 2–3 years of teaching experience, with completed ECT.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Ability to thrive in a multicultural environment while respecting local traditions and Islamic values.
• Creative approach to lesson planning, integrating technology and interactive activities.
