Secondary Maths Teacher – Doha, Qatar (Start Aug 2026)

About the role

ASQ INTERNATIONAL is seeking an enthusiastic Secondary Maths Teacher to join its British Academies network in Doha. The successful candidate will inspire students aged 11‑16 to develop strong mathematical foundations, logical reasoning and confidence in problem‑solving. This is a two‑year contract starting in August 2026, offering a dynamic, internationally‑focused teaching environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, student‑centred mathematics lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and support individual learning needs.
• Integrate appropriate educational technology to enhance learning outcomes.
• Maintain effective classroom management and uphold school policies.
• Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and professional development.

Required profile

• Degree in Mathematics and/or Education.
• PGCE, QTS or an equivalent international teaching qualification.
• Minimum of two years teaching experience at secondary level (Key Stage 3/4).
• Completion of an Early Career Teacher (ECT) programme is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
