Senior Accountant – Finance Department

About the role

The Senior Accountant will lead day‑to‑day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting for the organization. This position requires deep expertise in ERP and accounting software, a focus on process improvement, and strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Conduct month‑end and year‑end closings, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger using Tally, QuickBooks, and Odoo.
• Optimize ERP workflows, oversee system updates, and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide industry‑specific training and guidance to junior accounting staff.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, local accounting standards, and internal policies.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and addressing findings.
• Collaborate with senior management to align financial strategies with business goals and drive continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years working with ERP solutions.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor junior staff.
