Senior Accountant

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Deliver client accounting deliverables on time and in accordance with agreed deadlines.
• Maintain appropriate controls, policies and processes, and ensure accurate record keeping.
• Collect client data, input it into internal databases, and prepare returns, submissions, accounts and reports.
• Escalate client or work‑related issues to supervisors or managers as needed.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
• Communicate with clients, authorities, lawyers and other third parties, handling correspondence and technical queries.
• Support the implementation and updating of systems and procedures.
• Accurately post time in the internal time‑management system and identify opportunities for additional client work.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on technical accounting matters.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of revenue, productivity, chargeability and client relationship management.
• Proven experience delivering accounting services and meeting strict deadlines.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and adhere to internal controls and policies.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and third‑party professionals.
• Willingness to support continuous improvement of processes and systems.
