Senior Architectural Engineer – Theme Park & Entertainment

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Senior Architectural Engineer to join its Construction Supervision Consultant team in Qatar. The role focuses on delivering a landmark luxury hospitality and entertainment development that includes immersive experiences, premium retail, and diverse leisure attractions.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise construction and installation of all architectural works in line with contract documents, IFC drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with quality standards, schedule, and HSE requirements.
• Review and comment on shop drawings, material submittals, mock‑ups, samples, method statements, RFIs, and inspection requests.
• Oversee architectural finishes, façades, roofing, waterproofing, cladding, interior décor, and public‑realm features.
• Provide technical oversight for themed environments, rockwork, scenic construction, specialty finishes, and immersive guest areas.
• Coordinate interfaces with structural, civil, MEP, fire‑life safety, landscape, ride and show systems, and specialist attraction vendors.
• Witness inspections, approve mock‑ups, and conduct quality‑verification activities.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in architectural engineering for hospitality, entertainment, or theme‑park projects.
• Proven ability to manage complex construction sites and ensure design intent is met.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, HSE standards, and quality control processes.
