Senior Data Engineer – Snowflake (Doha)

About the role

Capco is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with deep Snowflake expertise to join its Data & Analytics practice in Doha. You will design, build and optimise modern cloud‑native data platforms for leading financial institutions, enabling advanced analytics, regulatory reporting and data‑driven decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise scalable data pipelines and cloud‑native platforms using Snowflake and related technologies.
• Build robust ELT/ETL solutions that integrate data from multiple enterprise sources while ensuring quality, security and governance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects and delivery teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimise Snowflake performance, cost management and data modelling for high‑performing platforms.
• Provide technical leadership on client engagements, mentor junior team members and contribute to successful project delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on Snowflake experience delivering enterprise‑scale data engineering solutions.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modelling, data integration and governance principles.
• Experience with SQL, Python and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Proven ability to work in Agile environments and lead technical workstreams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and consulting communication skills.
