Senior Installation Analysis Engineer

About the role

The Senior Installation Analysis Engineer will lead and enhance the Installation Analysis discipline at McDermott, providing expert guidance to less‑experienced colleagues and delivering high‑quality engineering solutions for offshore projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform conceptual, FEED and detailed design in line with project specifications, codes and standards.
• Act as Project Coordinator, directing engineering teams and managing schedules, budgets and deliverables.
• Prepare accurate design calculations, reports and procedures, and support offshore installation vessels when required.
• Identify scope changes, raise change notifications and support variation orders with appropriate documentation.
• Interface with all disciplines to develop clash‑free designs and maintain close cooperation with planning, fabrication, marine and project management teams.
• Document substantive communications and assist in preparing bid estimates, technical queries and design basis documents.
• Participate in project, vendor and engineering meetings, as well as offshore site surveys.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in installation analysis and offshore engineering design.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate complex projects.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on delivering accurate, compliant engineering solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical issues and collaborate across functions.
