Senior Payments & Financial Services Consultant (Qatar)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Consultant / Subject Matter Expert to join a strategic advisory project for a leading financial services organization in Qatar. The role focuses on payments, fintech and digital banking initiatives, providing expert guidance on operations, regulatory compliance and transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on payment services, gateway integration and merchant acquiring strategies.
• Support fintech operations, digital wallet implementation and related digital banking projects.
• Analyze and interpret Qatar Central Bank regulations, licensing processes and compliance requirements.
• Lead financial operations and transformation initiatives for the client.
• Collaborate with client teams and deliver actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Qatar’s financial services sector, especially payments, fintech or digital banking.
• Familiarity with Qatar Central Bank (QCB) regulatory framework is a plus.
• Arabic‑English bilingual capability preferred.
• Immediate or short‑notice availability.
• Open to senior‑level professionals, middle management or SMEs.
