About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer / Subject Matter Expert to lead the design, implementation and support of enterprise‑grade infrastructure, DevOps, security operations and Oracle database environments. The role will focus on large‑scale on‑premises, cloud and hybrid platforms within a telecom or highly regulated enterprise setting.

Key responsibilities

Design, build and maintain Oracle DBX infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments.
Administer Linux systems, virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere/ESXi, OLVM, Oracle VM) and Oracle databases.
Implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code, automation and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Harbor, Artifactory and SonarQube.
Integrate security controls into deployment pipelines (DevSecOps) and manage EDR, SIEM, vulnerability and patch management.
Manage Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, backup/recovery, disaster recovery, cloning and performance tuning.
Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise infrastructure, applications, networking and security platforms.
Develop Bash and Python automation scripts and create technical documentation, root‑cause analyses and standards.

Required profile

8‑10+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, security and Oracle database administration.
Background in telecommunications or other highly regulated enterprises.
Familiarity with ITIL‑based operational processes and governance frameworks.

Required skills

Oracle DBX, RAC, ASM, Data Guard, backup/recovery, replication, cloning, performance analysis.
Linux administration (Oracle Linux 7/8/9/10), system hardening and patching.
Virtualization: VMware vSphere/ESXi, OLVM, Oracle VM.
Cloud platforms – OCI preferred.
CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Harbor, Artifactory, SonarQube.
IaC: Terraform, Ansible, Helm.
Containers: Docker, Podman, CRI‑O, Kubernetes.
Scripting: Bash, Python (Perl/Groovy desirable).
Monitoring & observability: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.
Security: EDR, SIEM, vulnerability management, certificate management, segmentation, patch management.
Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) administration.
