Senior System Engineer – SOC Fusion Center

About the role

We are looking for a Senior System Engineer to join our SOC Fusion Center in Doha. This hands‑on infrastructure role covers Linux, Windows, virtualization, monitoring and backup in a mission‑critical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain Linux servers, manage users, packages (apt/yum), apply patches, monitor performance, handle backup/recovery, configure firewalls/IDS‑IPS and perform security audits.
• Administer Windows Server environments, manage users/groups, Group Policy Objects, security updates, file shares, antivirus, firewall settings and conduct security risk assessments.
• Deploy and manage VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter) and Nutanix clusters, including VXRail, performing performance tuning, VM provisioning and networking.
• Own end‑to‑end Zabbix monitoring setup, host/trigger configuration, dashboard creation, alerting and reporting.
• Operate Veeam Backup jobs, monitor alerts, manage storage, deduplication and capacity planning.
• Support core network services such as DNS, DHCP and VPN across both Linux and Windows platforms.

Required profile

• 8+ years of systems engineering or administration experience in mission‑critical environments.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• RHCE certification (mandatory).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and data centres.
• Experience with 24×7 production support and DevOps concepts is a plus.
