Shift Technician

About the role

The Shift Technician ensures the smooth operation of guest rooms and public areas in a Radisson hotel. Working on a rotating shift, you will respond quickly to guest requests, perform routine maintenance, and support the overall safety and comfort of the property.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest complaints and service requests without delay.
• Inspect, replace fused bulbs, and maintain lighting in corridors and fire stairways.
• Carry out annual room maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpet, wallpaper, and painting work.
• Maintain a stock of fast‑spare parts in the workshop.
• Implement the Room Care Maintenance program and ensure compliance with fire‑drill procedures, health, safety and hygiene regulations.
• Coordinate with other departments to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Participate in daily briefings, engineering meetings, and training sessions.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in a maintenance or technical role, preferably in hospitality.
• Hands‑on experience with hotel maintenance systems, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and handle emergency tasks.
• Strong problem‑solving, organizational and safety awareness.
