Site Engineer – Traffic

About the role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Site Engineer – Traffic to join its project team in Doha. The role focuses on planning, implementing and supervising traffic diversions and traffic management measures on construction sites, ensuring safety and compliance with contract specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and develop traffic diversions and traffic management plans in coordination with contractors and authorities.
• Review, inspect and approve traffic management plans.
• Monitor traffic diversions on site and report any irregularities to senior engineers.
• Ensure safe traffic flow, promptly addressing any faults or disturbances.
• Supervise work inspectors (Traffic) to guarantee compliance with contract and specifications.
• Maintain accident records and prepare daily inspection reports.
• Verify that contractor instructions regarding traffic flow and diversions are executed correctly.
• Observe and enforce site safety procedures for all parties.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in traffic engineering and site supervision.
• Ability to coordinate with contractors, authorities and the construction supervision team.
• Strong understanding of traffic safety regulations and procedures.
• Proactive attitude to identify and mitigate traffic risks.
