Spa Therapist (Female) – Full Time

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Spa Therapist (female) to join our luxury resort’s spa team in Doha. The role involves delivering high‑quality massage and body treatments to guests while ensuring their safety, comfort, and satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide massage services and body treatments such as scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy.
• Assess guest needs and check for contraindications before each service.
• Escort guests to and from treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized workstation.
• Promote and sell spa services and related retail products.
• Clean, sterilize, and maintain all tools and equipment.
• Monitor treatment schedules and adhere to time allocations.
• Handle inappropriate guest behavior according to Marriott International SOPs.
• Report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions and maintain required certifications.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• At least 1 year of relevant spa or massage experience.
• State or regional massage license.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift and move objects up to 10 lb.
• Female (as specified in the role title).

Required skills

• Massage therapy techniques.
• Body scrub, wrap and hydrotherapy procedures.
• Knowledge of contraindications (allergies, hypertension, pregnancy).
• Sanitation and sterilization protocols.
• Spa product and retail sales knowledge.
