Special Education Teacher – Elementary (Doha)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Needs (SEN) teacher to deliver high‑quality instruction to elementary‑level students in Doha. The successful candidate will create inclusive lesson plans, adapt teaching methods, and foster a supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives for SEN subjects.
• Use computers, audiovisual aids, and other equipment to enhance instruction.
• Adapt instructional materials to meet diverse student needs and interests.
• Maintain classroom management, enforce behavior rules, and address academic or behavioral issues.
• Assess student progress through tests, assignments, and regular feedback.
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, counselors, and administrators to support student development.
• Participate in professional development workshops and conferences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education (UK degree preferred).
• Valid teaching license from UK, US, CA, AU, NZ, ZA, or Scandinavian countries.
• Native‑level English proficiency.
• Minimum 2 years of elementary‑level SEN teaching experience.
• Strong classroom management skills and cultural sensitivity.

Required skills

• Computer literacy for using audiovisual and educational technology tools.
