Surveyor

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is hiring a full-time Surveyor in Doha, Qatar, within its construction business. The role covers field surveys, layout and setting-out, and as-built documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct topographic, boundary and site surveys using total stations, GPS and leveling instruments.
• Establish benchmarks, gridlines, reference points and control stations for construction activities.
• Perform layout and setting-out of structures, foundations, roads and utilities.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and alignment according to approved drawings.
• Carry out as-built surveys and prepare as-built drawings for submission.
• Maintain survey records, logs and field books.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics or Surveying.
• Minimum 3-7 years of experience as a Surveyor on construction, infrastructure, shipyard or oil & gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of surveying standards, tolerances and codes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with surveying equipment: Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, Theodolite.
• CAD software and survey data processing such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
