Switchgear Assembly / Panel Wiring Technician

About the role

MIRAN SOLUTIONS is recruiting experienced Switchgear Assembly / Panel Wiring Technicians for a client company in Qatar. The technician assembles, wires and installs low-voltage (LV) switchgear and electrical panels according to drawings and project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and wire LV switchgear and electrical panels.
• Carry out control wiring and power wiring as per approved drawings.
• Install and connect busbars, breakers, contactors, relays and other panel components.
• Mount components, dress cables, terminate and label them.
• Read and interpret GA drawings, SLDs and wiring diagrams.
• Ensure proper routing, termination and identification of cables.
• Perform visual and basic quality checks during panel assembly.
• Coordinate with design, testing and QA/QC teams.
• Follow safety procedures and manufacturing quality standards.

Required profile

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in LV switchgear assembly and panel wiring.
• Previous experience in switchgear/panel manufacturing is preferred.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of control wiring and power wiring.
• Experience in busbar installation and component mounting.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with MDB, SMDB, MCC, ATS and DB panels is an advantage.
