Threat & Risk Assessment Expert

About the role

Our client, a global technology consulting group, is looking for a Threat & Risk Assessment Expert to support a key customer in Doha, Qatar. The role involves identifying, assessing and mitigating information security risks across a wide range of technology initiatives and environments.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Threat & Risk Assessments (TRAs) for technology projects and operational environments.
• Assess cloud, hybrid, on‑premises, legacy and third‑party environments.
• Develop risk statements, assign risk ratings and propose treatment recommendations.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of security controls and determine residual risk levels.
• Collaborate with Security, Architecture, Legal, ERM and project teams.
• Support governance reviews and risk acceptance activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience performing Threat & Risk Assessments in financial institutions or government organisations.
• Strong knowledge of threat modelling, enterprise risk management and risk analysis methodologies.
• Understanding of enterprise architectures and security control frameworks.
• Experience working within embedded Information Security teams.
