Training Manager

About the role

The Training Manager will lead the delivery and management of all Continuing Airworthiness training activities, ensuring that training solutions are fit‑for‑purpose, cost‑effective and aligned with contractual milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of training to contracted milestones in line with CDRL B02.
• Identify business opportunities, develop outline solutions and bid proposals compliant with Part 145, EASA and EMARS.
• Conduct training situation analyses and produce consolidated reports and syllabus outlines.
• Manage the delivery of training interventions, including courseware, examinations, devices and facilities, across classroom, virtual, practical and on‑the‑job formats.
• Oversee assessment processes, marking, feedback and the management of training records and schedules.
• Lead training activities such as bids, data management, facilities, trainer coordination and course scheduling.
• Evaluate training design and delivery, embedding continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with the Training Management Plan and governance frameworks.
• Apply Human Factors, Error Management, Risk Management and Safety Assurance within training programmes and support audit activities.

Required profile

• Proven ability to provide effective leadership for a skilled training workforce.
• Experience in delivering aviation‑related training, particularly Continuing Airworthiness.
• Strong understanding of Part 145, EASA regulations and EMARS requirements.
• Capability to analyse training needs, develop solutions and manage costs efficiently.
• Competence in managing audits, non‑compliance remediation and continuous improvement processes.
