Transient Aircraft Services Technician (Secret Clearance)

About the role

The Transient Aircraft Services (TAS) Technician supports 24/7 flight‑line operations for U.S. and coalition forces in Qatar. Working under the AFCAP V program, you will ensure safe, efficient aircraft ground handling, servicing, and turn‑around in a high‑tempo, austere environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform aircraft marshaling, parking, chocking, grounding and positioning according to Technical Orders and airfield procedures.
• Execute arrival and departure services, including general ground handling and turn‑around tasks.
• Conduct operator‑level inspections and servicing of vehicles and support equipment used in TAS operations.
• Maintain strict tool control and participate in FOD (Foreign Object Debris) prevention activities.
• Document aircraft servicing records, shift logs, and inspection checklists.
• Communicate hazards, equipment issues, and operational concerns to supervisors promptly.

Required profile

• Ability to work in a zero‑harm environment and adhere to all flight‑line safety requirements.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts to support continuous 24/7/365 operations.
• Clearance to obtain a Secret security clearance.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow Technical Orders and safety directives.
