Transient Aircraft Services Technician (Secret Clearance)

About the role

The Transient Aircraft Services (TAS) Technician provides essential ground handling and servicing for United States and Coalition aircraft operating in Southwest Asia. Working 24/7 in a high‑tempo, austere environment, the technician ensures safe arrival, turn‑around, and departure of aircraft while complying with all safety and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform aircraft marshaling, parking, chocking, grounding and positioning according to Technical Orders and airfield procedures.
• Execute arrival and departure services, including general ground handling tasks to support aircraft turn‑around.
• Conduct operator‑level inspections and servicing of vehicles and support equipment used in TAS operations.
• Maintain strict tool control and participate in foreign object debris (FOD) prevention activities.
• Document aircraft servicing records, shift logs and inspection checklists.
• Communicate hazards, equipment malfunctions and operational issues to supervisors promptly.

Required profile

• Ability to work safely in a zero‑harm environment and follow all flight‑line safety directives.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts to support continuous 24/7/365 flight‑line operations.
• Clearance to obtain a Secret security clearance.
