UPS Service Technician

About the role

We are seeking skilled UPS Service Technicians to install, maintain, and service UPS systems, CBS systems, and related battery solutions. The role involves on‑site work across a range of capacities, ensuring reliable power backup for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on major UPS, CBS and battery brands.
• Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues, and replace defective components, including capacitors.
• Install sealed maintenance‑free (SMF) VRLA batteries (12 V, 5 Ah to 12 V, 150 Ah) on new and existing systems.
• Carry out UPS installations ranging from 1 kVA to 300 kVA.
• Respond promptly to breakdown and service calls, providing on‑site resolution.

Required profile

• Technical or electrical diploma (ITI, technical course, or Electrical Technician course).
• 1–2 years of experience with electrical product installation and UPS, SMF, or VRLA battery maintenance.
• Ability to read and prepare service reports in English.
