Waiter

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and attentive Waiter to join our Food & Beverage team at a Marriott hotel in West Bay, Doha. The successful candidate will serve food and beverages, ensure guest satisfaction, and uphold our high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests according to event type and service standards.
• Set tables, answer menu questions, and communicate special dietary requirements to the kitchen.
• Record orders in the MICROS system and present accurate checks for payment.
• Check in with guests throughout the service to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware and complete closing duties such as restocking and turning off lights.
• Follow all company safety, security, and uniform policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant wait‑staff experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 lb unaided.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
