Waiter / Waitress – Hotel Food & Beverage

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Waiter/Waitress to join the Food & Beverage team at Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha. You will serve guests in a luxury hotel environment, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain thorough knowledge of all menu items and recommend food and beverage pairings, including upselling alternatives.
• Deliver high‑standard, efficient and friendly service in line with the hotel’s Standard Operational Procedures.
• Keep the work area and surrounding spaces clean, organized and presentable at all times.
• Handle guest enquiries courteously and promptly.
• Provide professional, flexible service, adapting to rotations across different Food & Beverage sub‑departments or other hotel areas as required.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality.
• Fresh graduate or up to one year experience in a 4‑ to 5‑star hotel.
• Positive, outgoing personality with a strong attitude for guest service.
• Willingness to adhere to hotel policies, procedures and operational standards.

Required skills

• Knowledge of food and beverage menus and ability to suggest pairings.
• Upselling techniques and guest interaction skills.
