Workforce Planning & Organization Development Officer

About the role

The Workforce Planning & Organization Development Officer is responsible for maintaining and updating master data on the organizational structure, cost‑centre assignments, jobs and positions within the SAP Organizational Management module. The role supports accurate manpower planning and reporting for the company’s operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the company’s organizational structure and position assignments in SAP to ensure smooth workflow.
• Produce, reproduce and distribute departmental organizational charts for reorganization proposals, job evaluations and title changes.
• Prepare and maintain QatarEnergy LNG establishment manpower reports via SAP.
• Review promotion and transfer forms (PAFs), verify recommendations against establishment limits and process workflow actions.
• Generate month‑end workforce reports, summaries and graphs using SAP ad‑hoc reports or HR Browser for senior management.
• Coordinate IT service requests related to workforce planning and assist in resolving system errors.
• Participate in developing new IT solutions for workforce planning, including business requirement collection, evaluation and testing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or Administration.
• Minimum five years of experience in personnel and manpower planning within an oil and gas environment.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience with data analytics, data modelling and reporting automation.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
