Assistant Manager – Restaurant

About the role

The Assistant Manager will support the restaurant’s daily operations, ensuring service excellence, brand compliance, and profitability. This role combines hands‑on management of staff, inventory, and customer experience to drive growth and maintain high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee front‑of‑house and kitchen operations, guaranteeing cleanliness, hygiene, and adherence to brand standards.
• Manage staff scheduling, training, performance reviews, and recruitment to maintain an engaged team.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure swift resolution to protect brand reputation.
• Control inventory, conduct regular counts, reconcile stock, and approve orders within budget.
• Monitor financial performance, control labor and food costs, and prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• Coordinate home‑delivery service, including driver scheduling and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and local regulations, and address maintenance issues promptly.
• Support marketing initiatives by monitoring competition and identifying opportunities for business development.
