Assistant Spa Manager

About the role

The Assistant Spa & Wellness Manager supports the Spa & Wellness Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the spa and wellness facilities at Banana Island Resort Doha. This role ensures exceptional guest experiences, maintains high service standards, and contributes to the department’s financial and operational success within a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Spa & Wellness Manager with daily administration and operational tasks.
• Supervise therapists, receptionists, fitness and wellness team members, ensuring consistent delivery of treatments and services.
• Monitor appointments, treatment rooms, guest flow, cleanliness, and overall service quality.
• Handle guest feedback, requests, and complaints professionally, ensuring timely resolution.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching and development of spa staff.
• Conduct regular team briefings and communicate operational updates.
• Monitor staff performance, provide constructive feedback and coaching.
• Ensure compliance with hotel, spa, health and hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in spa or wellness operations.
• Strong understanding of spa treatments, wellness services and luxury hospitality standards.
• Excellent guest‑relation skills and ability to deliver personalized experiences.
• Leadership aptitude with experience supervising a multidisciplinary team.
