Business Analyst – Digital Transformation

About the role

Malomatia is seeking a Business Analyst to join its enterprise digital transformation, data and AI programmes in Doha. You will work within agile squads, partnering closely with Product Owners to turn complex business needs into actionable user stories and functional specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse and document business requirements through workshops, interviews and stakeholder engagement.
• Author Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows and requirements traceability matrices.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring stories are well‑formed and ready for sprint execution.
• Lead requirement reviews and walkthroughs with business stakeholders, solution architects, developers and QA teams.
• Conduct Fit‑Gap analysis, recommend process improvements and manage change requests throughout the programme lifecycle.
• Define and validate acceptance criteria, support UAT planning, defect triage and release sign‑off.
• Work with UX/UI designers to translate requirements into wireframes, prototypes and user journeys.
• Produce executive‑grade documentation in both English and Arabic for client and steering committees.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of business analysis experience on enterprise digital transformation, data or AI initiatives.
• Proven experience working in agile squads as the BA counterpart to a Product Owner.
• Bilingual capability in Arabic and English for workshops, documentation and executive communication.
• Strong stakeholder management across business, technical and executive audiences.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering or related field).
