Business Finance Manager

About the role

The Business Finance Manager will support the organisation in all finance‑related matters, focusing on financial and strategic planning, variance monitoring, forecasting and cost control. The role provides senior management with insightful analysis and recommendations to drive efficient resource allocation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the financial impact of business decisions and strategic initiatives, providing forecasts and scenario analysis.
• Partner with business units to present objective financial views and recommend resource allocation.
• Monitor monthly expenditure variance, investigate significant deviations and implement control actions.
• Lead the preparation, execution and analysis of budgets and rolling forecasts for business units.
• Develop comprehensive business cases for investment projects, assessing cost, benefits, risks and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Evaluate opportunities, risks and efficiencies, supplying sufficient data for fair evaluation.
• Report on KPI performance for assigned departments and review internal controls for enhancements.
• Enhance costing processes, menu development changes and drive continuous improvement of systems and automations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, CMA or CA preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of internal finance systems and ability to work under tight reporting deadlines.
