Cake Shop Assistant

About the role

The Ned Doha is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Cake Shop Assistant to be the welcoming face of its pastry counter. You will create a warm, inviting experience for guests while showcasing a variety of cakes, pastries, and sweet treats.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests in a warm and professional manner.
• Present and serve cakes, pastries, and other items with care and attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing display counter.
• Handle orders, payments, and basic cashiering duties.
• Support the pastry and service team during busy periods.
• Ensure high standards of hygiene and food safety are maintained.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a café, bakery, or hospitality environment is preferred.
• A friendly personality with excellent customer service skills.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Passion for food, especially pastries and desserts.
• Well‑groomed and presentable, with attention to detail.
