Chef De Partie – VOX Premium Cinema

About the role

The Chef De Partie will lead back‑of‑house operations for the VOX Premium cinema offering, ensuring that all food and beverage items meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation. You will manage shift staff, oversee preparation timing, and maintain temperature control throughout service.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high culinary standards and ensure compliance with hygiene and food‑safety policies.
• Support the Sous Chef with stock rotation, inventory checks, and quality control of incoming produce.
• Provide guidance, training, and on‑the‑job support to Commis Chefs and junior kitchen staff.
• Delegate daily tasks, oversee mise en place, and manage kitchen operations under pressure.
• Communicate clear instructions to cooks and coordinate closely with Front‑of‑House teams.
• Report staffing or operational issues to management and assist with inter‑departmental tasks.
• Participate in staff development, training, and succession planning.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of culinary experience, preferably in fine dining, 5‑star hotels, or cabin‑crew environments.
• Strong team player able to multitask, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail under pressure.
• Professional appearance and excellent communication skills, especially in guest‑facing settings.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking) and computer literate.
• Certificate, course, or diploma in hospitality or culinary arts.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using inventory management systems.
