Civil & Structural Design Engineer – Doha

About the role

Energoprojekt Entel Qatar is seeking an experienced Civil & Structural Design Engineer to join its Doha team. This full‑time, on‑site position requires a valid residency permit and focuses on steel and concrete infrastructure for oil & gas projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design steel and concrete structures such as pipeline supports, pipe racks, vessels, culverts, track roads, and road crossings in line with international, Shell DEPs and QatarEnergy standards.
• Prepare technical reports, material specifications and method statements.
• Develop design sketches, issue instructions to draftsmen and review/approve their AutoCAD work.
• Coordinate closely with mechanical, piping and pipeline engineers and gather inputs from other disciplines.
• Review design submissions from subcontractors and participate in client/contractor coordination meetings.

Required profile

• More than 10 years of overall work experience.
• At least 5 years in oil & gas greenfield or brownfield projects, preferably for QatarEnergy or its subsidiaries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering and registration with the Ministry of Municipality.
• Strong ability to interpret mechanical, process, piping and pipeline drawings and reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
