About the role
Technip Energies is seeking a Cost Control Engineer to establish and manage cost control procedures for its projects. The role involves setting up budgets, forecasting, risk analysis, and ensuring accurate invoicing to support project profitability.
Key responsibilities
- Set up cost control procedures and budgeting tools for project cost tracking.
- Estimate total forecasts, quantities, costs, and expected outcomes.
- Provide risk analysis on EPC contracts to highlight cost‑impact items.
- Control commitments and approve vendor/sub‑contractor invoices.
- Assist project managers in optimizing and improving budgeted profits.
- Prepare change orders/claims and follow‑up on them.
- Generate monthly internal (PMR) and external client status reports.
- Develop monthly cash‑flow forecasts.
- Verify invoices for accuracy.
- Create statistical and close‑out reports to improve future estimation tools.
- Ensure compliance with company and client HSE and quality management systems.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
- Proficiency in English.
