Compliance Manager

About the role

The Compliance Manager will support Qatar Airways Group’s overall compliance and governance programme. You will advise on a wide range of regulations, draft policies, and ensure that the organisation’s strategies align with applicable laws.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on sanctions, export control, anti‑bribery, due diligence, consumer rights, competition, governance and data protection.
• Draft, review and update compliance policies and procedures.
• Identify legal risks, propose remedial actions and monitor implementation.
• Lead compliance training, awareness programmes and develop related guidance.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Support management and employees on regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in compliance, regulatory or audit roles, including at least 5 years in a large organisation or government entity.
• Proven ability to manage complex compliance issues and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong managerial skills with experience in delegating work, mentoring and fostering teamwork.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
