Director - Operations & Managed Services

About the role

The Director of Operations & Managed Services will lead digital procurement and operational excellence across Ooredoo Group. You will transform procurement data into actionable insights, support sourcing systems, and drive technology strategies that align with the Group’s vision of becoming the region’s leading digital infrastructure provider.

Key responsibilities

• Support digital procurement operations and drive data‑driven decision making across the Group.
• Design, develop and continuously enhance reporting, dashboards and analytics for sourcing, spend, supplier and contract management.
• Provide Level 1 functional support for sourcing systems such as Ariba and iCertis, including user training and data quality assurance.
• Bridge business and technology to improve efficiency, compliance, cost optimisation and supplier performance.
• Lead operational excellence in NOC, SOC, FLM, OSS, monitoring, assurance platforms and CEM.
• Drive evaluation, deployment and management of current and future Operations & Managed Services technology strategies.
• Develop Group‑level technology roadmaps, architectures and best practices aligned with strategic vision.
• Enforce Group‑wide operational frameworks, architecture standards and governance models.

Required profile

• Senior professional with proven experience in operations and managed services, preferably within telecom or digital infrastructure.
• Strong analytical mindset with a track record of data‑driven decision making.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and bridge business and technology.
• Experience with procurement processes and sourcing system support.
