Electrician – Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance

About the role

Marriott International is seeking an Electrician to perform routine and preventative maintenance on its property vehicles and equipment at its Doha location. The role involves ensuring vehicles such as engineering trucks, shuttle vans and electric carts remain safe, reliable and compliant with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct minor routine maintenance on property vehicles, including oil and fluid checks, tire pressure and wear inspections, battery charging, and spark‑plug replacement.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning, lubrication and regular inspections.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies, requisitioning items as needed.
• Record daily logs of operations, maintenance activities, safety checks, test results and equipment malfunctions.
• Follow all company safety, security and environmental policies; report hazards, accidents and complete required safety training.
• Ensure professional appearance, protect company assets and handle confidential information.
• Assist with physical tasks such as lifting, moving and positioning objects up to 50 lb and working in various postures.
• Perform other reasonable duties as directed by supervisors.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in vehicle or equipment electrical maintenance.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
