Field Support Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Field Support Technician to join a leading enterprise technology organization. The role focuses on delivering end‑user computing support, hardware and software troubleshooting, and executive‑level IT assistance across the company’s locations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑ and second‑level support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network and application issues.
• Install, configure and maintain Windows and macOS operating systems and approved enterprise software.
• Support video‑conferencing tools, printers and other office IT equipment.
• Manage incidents and service requests within SLA timelines and document resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Assist with IT onboarding and off‑boarding, including device setup and retrieval.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs, replacements and warranty claims.
• Provide remote support for off‑site or hybrid employees and escalate unresolved issues as needed.
• Support end‑user access to Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) and handle identity provisioning via Active Directory and Azure Entra ID.
• Enforce security policies, manage antivirus, endpoint protection and MFA on devices.
• Participate in asset management, inventory checks and lifecycle tracking.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the IT industry, with at least 3 years in end‑user computing or IT service management.
• Proven experience providing VIP or executive support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS environments and familiarity with macOS.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 suite and basic network troubleshooting.
• Hands‑on experience with ticketing tools and Managed Print Services.
• Understanding of security tools such as antivirus, endpoint protection and MFA.
• Valid driver’s license.
