Fixed Installation Desk Advisor

About the role

The Fixed Installation Desk Advisor supports the end‑to‑end rollout of fixed‑line fibre services (FTTX) and 5G connectivity. Working from a central desk, you will analyse test reports, coordinate with technology and commercial teams, and ensure that new buildings, towers and villas are ready for customer connection.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse OTDR/LSPM testing reports to verify compliance with budget and service standards.
• Coordinate operational acceptance of newly declared Ready‑For‑Service (RFS) sites with technology teams.
• Create and maintain technical inventory reports required for new customer connections.
• Monitor splitter port utilization per building and request expansions as needed.
• Perform manual activities such as uploading and tracking inventory (ONT, CPE, STB, fibre patch cords), booking customer appointments, and handling disconnections.
• Engage with commercial, QNBN, Vodafone rollout teams and external vendors to obtain IDs, validate scope compliance, and ensure SLA adherence.
• Provide back‑office support, troubleshoot activation issues, and reconcile field inventory.
• Leverage MS Power BI, Power Automate and PowerPoint to generate insights, daily reports and operational dashboards.
• Train field agents on Vodafone processes, ensure proper uniforms and IDs, and review post‑installation feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Engineering degree in Telecommunications or a related field.
• Advanced knowledge of fixed fibre services (FTTX) and 5G network concepts.
• Experience with OTDR/LSPM testing equipment and inventory management.
• Strong understanding of SLA management and field‑service operations.
