Forward-Deployed Solution Engineer (International)

About the role

NODA is seeking a senior full‑stack engineer to lead the deployment and technical delivery of its URZA platform for defense and intelligence customers. The role is mission‑driven, requiring extensive on‑site work in Department of War (DoW) and military environments, with a home office based in Austin, TX and primary field location in Qatar.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end URZA deployments at customer sites, configuring the system for each mission and concept of operations.
• Integrate URZA with third‑party command‑and‑control (C2) systems, sensors, APIs, and external data feeds such as weather and intelligence.
• Conduct technical reviews, operator training, and coordinate engagements with Mission Leads and Field Operations.
• Develop reusable runbooks, ConOps templates, and integration playbooks.
• Mentor mid‑level Solution Engineers and serve as the senior engineering presence on the ground.

Required profile

• 5+ years of full‑stack engineering experience with strong customer‑facing or forward‑deployed background.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain an active Secret clearance.
• Demonstrated deployment experience in DoW, military, or comparable operational settings.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python, C++, or Rust.
• Advanced Linux fluency and deep networking knowledge (TCP/IP, UDP, multicast, routing, field debugging).
• Experience with autonomous or unmanned vehicle systems (UAS, UGV, USV, UUV).
• Familiarity with tactical C2 systems (TAK, Cursor‑on‑Target, Link 16) and pub‑sub middleware (Zenoh, DDS).
• Integration of sensors, third‑party APIs, and external data feeds.
